Sakura Wars Delayed

Sakura Wars: So Long , My Love is delayed yet again. What the hell NIS America? Quit pushing back the release date of Gemini Sunrise’s star debut outside of Japan! Granted the delay is only one week which removes it from March 23rd, 2010 to March 30th, 2010 but that’s seven days I could have spent playing the game from start to finish.

Score! Gemini is so into cosplay!

The delay affects both the PS2 and Wii versions of the game. If you ask me the PS2 version will be the one to get because it comes with a Japanese voice dual-layered DVD for those who don’t want to play the English dub disc, an artbook around 50 pages, a special case, and a poster. Amazon lists the MSRP for this premium edition as $39.99. The Wii version doesn’t include any of the previously mentioned perks normally but those who want the artbook can buy the game along with the artbook for $39.99 from Rosenqueen. The regular Wii edition costs $29.99.

Expect a review of the PS2 version from me around the first or second week of April. That includes impressions of the game in both Japanese and English discs and the artbook. Now excuse me while I prepare to ride out an extra week of hype.
