Eyeshield 21: Field of Dreams

Eyeshield 21 – Field of Dreams

Continuing on with my Eyeshield 21 appreciation week (might as well call it that), here is a post about the only artbook released to this date. It was actually released a while ago, while the manga was still in it’s middle stage so the epic colour pages seen from the awesome parts of the manga aren’t available yet. That doesn’t mean that the art showcased here aren’t great though, since there are plenty of memorable colour pages like Agon’s flame and the Devilbat team artwork. All the work here are pretty much done in copic so it’s all very traditional, since there is little amount of digital touch ups.

No sketches or sidequips here really, since it is pretty much a compilation of all the colour pages and JUMP magazine covers up to the Naga fight. Sadly there’s no sight of the volume cover artwork but with a lot of art not included in here, I can guarantee that the very next artbook (which I hope will be released this year) will be one of the most epic releases in the world ever. There are some included in a drawing book released not too long ago but unfortunately I don’t have any scans of that handy as of yet (if you have them, feel free to drop a comment). It’s a very small download so be sure to check it out. It’s only 26mbs :P

Oh and credit to Eyeshield 21 France for the original scan and upload.
