Summary: Yamamoto’s strong Souketsu double punch finally penetrates Wonderweiss’ tough exterior and literally blows him into millions of tiny little pieces. His regenerative abilities seem to have been overcome by the power of the technique and Wonderweiss is now truly down for the count. Noticing that even in death Wonderweiss is devoid of any feeling and emotion, Yamamoto calls Aizen inhumane but Aizen replies by saying that he gave devoid souls like the Hollows a purpose, therefore he is humane. He instead calls Yamamoto inhumane for crushing those souls into pieces.
Yamamoto has enough of the petty arguments and is soon face to face with Aizen, claiming that it will all be over soon. Aizen reveals an interesting fact that he had overlooked, as it seems like Yamamoto did not understand Wonderweiss’ true power. Extinguir was created to seal every flame created by the Ryuujin Jakka. It includes old and new flames and seals them away forever. This means that the flames that created the border in which Yamamoto battled Aizen in before Wonderweiss interrupted was also sealed away. Aizen asks Yamamoto a question: Where is the flame sealed?
Realizing that the flames were all collected and kept within Wonderweiss’ head, Yamamoto realizes that he would need to stop the flames from exploding out of the now lifeless body. He rushes in just in-time to stop the big explosion but still takes up major damage himself as he tries to absorb and reduce the blast in order to save the life of the occupants nearby. Aizen applauds him for reducing the impact to such a degree and goes on to explain that the full blast would have easily destroyed the barrier that the Gotei 13 had created around Karrakura town and it’s immediate vicinity. By stopping the explosion, he managed to keep the town in one piece, giving him a world to rule over. He thanks Yamamoto for this and drops down into the blast crater to finish Yamamoto off with his own blade.
To his surprise however, Yamamoto grabs hold of his feet and manages to trap Aizen once more in his grasp like he did in the past. Releasing Hadou #96 in order to trap Aizen forever, the hadou creates a barrier of massive proportions but Aizen barely manages to escape the barrier before he was trapped in. To his surprise however, as soon as he gets out of the barrier, in comes Ichigo in Vaizard form to intercept his path.

Bass’ Thoughts: Wow, this was quite a chapter. I didn’t know Kubo still had it in him. The chapter was made in a way that it was captivating from beginning to end and it was action packed from start to finish. Not to mention all the surprises and curveballs thrown into the mix. After last week’s lackluster plot, we finally see the end of Wonderweiss, although I loved how even in his death he was able to inflict major damage on the captain. Kubo had actually put in everything I asked for last week; the end of Wonderweiss, a twist involving his death, a fight with Aizen and also the shockers found at the end of the chapter.
While we did not see Yamamoto’s bankai (again) we did get to see him use is body as a meatshield as well as use a Hadou which we haven’t really seen much lately. With Yamamoto now badly damaged from the explosion I doubt we will even see his bankai at all now and with Ichigo finally getting off his ass and doing something, things are gonna get hella interesting in the next chapter. I’m not sure what he can do against Aizen even in Vaizard form though, since all the other Vaizards didn’t manage to inflict any damage at all on Aizen previously. If even Shinji’s awesome backwards technique wasn’t enough to do damage, I doubt that Ichigo’s straightforward CQC will do much either.
At least if he does manage to draw blood, he will not be pulled into another one of those illusions. That said, I’m pretty sure that Ichigo will eventually be put into the illusion and that is when the proper battle will start, with him finding a technique or epiphany in order to overcome that disadvantage. If he were to just dodge all the illusions and finally beat Aizen, it won’t be much of an achievement since he wasn’t handicapped at all and given that Bleach is a battle shounen manga, the hero always goes through the toughest roads to victory, so he will eventually have to overcome the illusions.
With Yamamoto now possibly out of commission (unless he releases his damn bankai), I can see Icihigo failing badly in this fight. That is probably when we’ll finally see Isshin, Urahara and Yoruichi make their move against Aizen. Maybe they will fight him, or maybe they will fight Gin. Either way, they will finally be making their appearance very soon. I’d love to get an explanation about Isshin’s past so the sooner they get there the better. (oh crap, I totally forgot about the fight in Hueco Mundo still going. I hope they finish that off in like half a chapter, no one gives a crap about them anymore

2Shea’s Thoughts: As last chapter, Yamamoto is a badass. I think that’s what Kubo could have called this group of chapters to be honest. That said, I have to say that this was one of the more enjoyable chapters in recent memory. I was happy to see Wonderweiss get defeated, even if it caused quit a bit of damage to Yamamoto in the process. The fact that he has that much strength is really something. Even though it may not end up mattering, it was nice to see Aizen a bit shocked and surprised, and then caught off guard by the Captain Commander’s kidou. I am also very happy that it seems Ichigo actually made a smart decision in his time to attack. I’m sure it was pretty hard for him to hold back that long.
Needless to say, I am incredibly happy to be seeing this arc draw to a close, at least I hope that’s what is happening. I will be extremely ecstatic when we can finally move on from this battle and hueco mundo. I hope Kubo is actually doing this, and we don’t get another 30 chapters finishing it off.

Worse case scenario: The manga will now cut back to the Hueco Mundo arc, and then it'll come back to fake Karakura Town to find Aizen has owned Ichigo already…
My recent post Deadman Wonderland 30
Damn, now that you mention that I can't help but think that that's the way the manga is gonna go.
It seems very plausible and it has been a while since we last saw the Hueco Mundo fight.
My recent post Bleach ch395
You know what? I would totally bet on that.
It's Kubo's M.O.
