Cute Robots + Shiny Swords = Mediocre?

Ok so I’ve been waiting to see this for awhile and the subs for it have finally come out. As a fair warning though: THIS IS BAD!

So you may be wondering “So now Sunrise is doing Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but in SD Gundam form?” The answer is yes, yes they are. You may also be wondering “Is it actually any good?” The answer is an emphatic NO. This is just pure torture. They claim for it to have humor but I see none and the plot itself….yawn…. So please spare yourself off this and go watch some Angel Beats, Heroman, or anything other than this.

Summary: So our story (if you can call it that) begins with 2 Zakus doing what any self respecting Zaku would do: steal from the poor. It so happens that the ones getting robbed are GM’s (UC Gundam Era’s mass produced cheap version of the Rx-78-2 but weaker. Imagine Federation’s version of the Zaku but less plating)

Foiled again!

So our hero standing atop a tree commands them to stop because they interrupted his nap (Could have been worse). 2 ass kickings later! (Ok this is supposed to be a funny retelling but I see no humor only constant talking) So after he’s questioned by his friend if “The shed did evil to you” they go to visit their master (and it just so happens he is leaving for war).

So after he receives a rusty sword they proceed to climb atop an ancient temple, where they see that the battle has started!

Hey I can see my house from here!

Or maybe just fail...either one is fine with me

He's not dead, he's just sleeping very heavily never to wake up again

Overall thoughts: THIS IS NOT GOOD! I’m a Gundam fan and this makes me want to hate myself. Sunrise please, I beg of you to destroy this show. It could have been much better as I liked the original SD Gundam series more though. (You know the one that was shown on Cartoon Network with the Rx-78-2 as the lead character named Captain Gundam).

It was bad but if you need to kill 11 minutes of your life (better things to do but still) you couldn’t go for worse. Short episodes, bad plot, decent cg, it seems to be lacking a whole lot. All in all AVOID THIS. This applies to both Gundam fans or people just watching this for fun. This is just pitiful and this is coming from the girl that loved the original SD Gundam Force and is a Char Aznable Fangirl.

Yes this was a short review also but the episode itself is only eleven minutes so yeah..
