[singlepic id=267 w=320 h=120 float=left]Summary: As Naruto has agreed to keep the scroll key along with him in his body, Gamatora attempts to enter his body forcefully through his mouth. Unfortunately for Naruto, the impatient Fukasaku forced him in instantly through a swift kick to the ass. After the whole ordeal, Naruto asks the Great Elder for hints to where he would meet this “octopus” and after some further information, Fukasaku transports him back to the Ramen shack where he is greeted by two ninjas who requests for his autographs.
[singlepic id=268 w=320 h=180 float=right]At the alliance meeting, it was determined that gaining information on the enemy stronghold was imperial for the planning process to proceed and with some info from Tsunade as well as the Raikage assembling his own recon team for the scouting, the process was progressing at a good pace. The Tsuchikage then asks where they were going to hide the jinchuurkis, which angered Tsunade since she thought that having their weapons at the front of the battlefield would give them an immense advantage over Madara. Gaara doesn’t agree however, as well as the other kages, since they know that Madara will want to capture the two jinchuurikis as soon as possible. The war was all for the protection of the jinchuurkis after all, so it would be stupid to just dangle them out like that. In the end, Tsunade agrees to hiding the two and the Raikage proposes a special island within his jurisdiction, a place where he and Killer Bee are familiar with for their intensive training.
[singlepic id=269 w=320 h=180 float=left]Not long after, Naruto and Yamato are dispatched by boat to the island. Everything is starting to fall in line with the prophecy, just as the Great Elder had predicted, much to Naruto’s delight. He was fully expecting an island paradise but instead they were brought to an island which had gloom and doom written all over it. Soon though, a single tentacle emerges from the sea and attempts to capsize the boat. Naruto thought it was the elusive Octopus of the prophecy but instead, a squid appeared in it’s place. Before getting himself eaten, Naruto was luckily saved by Killerbee as his transformed state easily subdues the Squid, leading up to their fated meeting.

[singlepic id=270 w=320 h=180 float=right]My Thoughts: This chapter was actually very short, or at least it felt like it went fast. Nothing much really happened and it pretty much acted as an in-between chapter. At least now Naruto has finally met up with Bee, and I can’t wait to see how the two click off. With both being moronic and obnoxious, it probably won’t be all as smooth as one would hope but since the two are very similar, maybe they will hit it off quickly. There was that little foreshadowing that Bee thought that “tebayo” was a stupid thing to say so I have no doubt in my mind that this will somehow be played into the conversation. I’m pretty sure Bee was not what Naruto had in mind in terms of a teacher to keep the Kyuubi in check but after this badass introduction, I doubt that Naruto will take him lightly at all.
[singlepic id=271 w=320 h=150 float=left]Other than the two hosts’ meetings, what I’m really looking forward to is the interaction between the bijuus themselves. We’ve never seen any sort of interaction between any of the beasts before and with Kyuubi such a major jackass and all, I wonder how he will cooperate with Bee and Naruto trying to force him to work together. I don’t know what suggestions Bee will come up with other than being a buddy with the bijuu though. The Kyuubi seems to always have a stick up it’s ass so it probably won’t be easy. I’ve always sort of enjoyed the past training arcs so hopefully this won’t be that much different. Seeing as this will definitely be the last training arc in Naruto, I hope they left the best for last.
[singlepic id=272 w=320 h=160 float=right]Oh and since Kisame is still inside the Samehada, that will lead to some very interesting developments. If the arc isn’t as popular as we thought, Kishi could opt to have the two face off against Kisame once and for all. If it’s not Gai who will finally beat him, I think Bee should do it instead. Actually, maybe Kisame will be the first victim of Naruto’s new techniques. He would definitely be a good foil against the newly kyuubified Naruto, especially seeing there’s so much water surrounding them for Kisame’s suiton. Also, it was pretty cool to see the old Naruto humor back in the mix. It’s been a while and that image of Naruto attempting deepthroat was hilarious.
