K-On!! Episode 02

And now we know how Yui gets her panties wet.

「 けいおん！」- The “OH MY GOD I’VE NEVER BEEN TO A STORE BEFORE!” Episode

Color Commentary: So we start of with Mugi cleaning boards. It’s not her turn but Yui being, well Yui is dead asleep. So after attempts to wake her up (why don’t they beat her until she wakes up?) they have to go Fur-suit hunting (what did I tell you Kyo Ani IS RULED BY FURRIES!!!!). They clean out the closets in the process too (wonder if they found any Skeletons?)

The Cake is a lie!

Once they start cleaning Mio ties her hair in a Pony Tail and might I add it looks hawt. So after cleaning up they find a case (what could be in it, Drugs?, Porn?, Weapons?, Mio’s Panties?). No it is a cherry red Gibson SG (Good guitar by the way) and Sawako owns it. She lets them sell it after realizing the smell and the fact she never played it. And Yui finds Sawako’s high school picture (you know the one with her as a metal star), and shows it to Azusa who never knew about Sawako’s secret life.

So to decide who carries it they play rock paper scissors, and Yui loses. So she carries 2 heavy things, her bag and the guitar case. Mio wants a cabinet for the room which is also pretty cheap from a catalog. So they walk into the Japenese Walmart and Mugi goes around like a kid in a candy store because she’s super rich and has never gone to one.

And now that I have I MUST have Daddy buy it!

Over to Yui, she is typical having one of her Yui Moments as she acts like a child and plays with everything. Soon after she and Azusa start staring at a turtle.

Now cut to the girls in the music store where Yui got her Les Paul (What beginner gets a fucking Les Paul I still wonder) they sell the guitar for 500,000 yen. Azusa starts staring at band pictures and wonders if they would be better with new members.

After selling it they go to where else but McDonalds  (I know they whore Gibson out in this but now McDonalds? What next Taco Hell?) After looking at the cash they got the girls minus Mugi (OF COURSE!) get clouded by greed.

So once they get back to school Yui gets in trouble for not taking the frog statue home and says Ui would hurt her if she brought it back. Cut to a shot of Ui saying “Hey” and Yui apologizing and bowing from not picking up her own messes. Seriously Ui is almost like the Ten Ten of K-On! except she gets a little more screen time.

After all that nonsense Sawako asks how the much guitar sold for. Ritsu (being the brains?) lies saying like 5000 yen. She says that she knew it probably wouldn’t sell for much so she asks for the receipt and Ritsu…EATS IT! with the girls cheering in he background “SWALLOW SWALLOW SWALLOW !” Yes she eats it, and you wonder why Yui has the IQ of a 5 year old on crack? Take at a look at Ritsu the 6 year old on crack. So to cover up Yui says Sawako is over 50 years old which gets her beat and angry. So after they apologize Yui asks for one favor….to be money slapped!

So after the apologies Sawako decides they can get 1 thing for the club using the money; a new amp for Mio, new bass pedals for Ritsu, or a distortion pedal. What they decide after watching clubs doing the orientation for new members is to get Azusa, a junior member to take care of it. The new member (surprise) is Ton Chan the turtle from earlier, but Azusa was looking at it not because it was cute or she would like it but because it looked weird. They accept it anyway with Yui wanting to take care of it too.

Overall Thoughts: This episode was pretty good I must say a lot of humor especially with Mugi in the store buying loads of useless stuff because it looks cool. The ending I loved especially, it was kinda cute and funny. I really do hope they do the Mio Stalker arc and Cafe Maids one or I will be disappointed in Kyoani since this will be a 24 episode series. We also learn of Yui’s fetish for people money slapping her. Once again this proves how what seemed just like musical loli’s turned into awesomeness, and how Kyoani stepped up and made up for the mistake Endless Eight was. (Never again, I swear they use Endless Eight and Jonas Brothers music for torturing prisoners at Gitmo!)
