The “I WANNA QUIT BEING A DRUMMER!” Episode.

Ton-Chan: Still Smarter Then Yui

Summary:

We start with Ton-Chan being, well you guessed it smarter then Yui. After everybody goes off about how cute she is Ritsu yells that she’s done being a drummer.  She reasons that she’s never in the spotlight, only her forehead and legs are. So yes this episode will be Ritsu learning that drums are indeed better for her, and that it doesn’t matter if you get in the spotlight or not.

She first tries her hand at guitaring and uses Gitah(Yui’s Sex Guitar), with Azusa teaching her because Yui is buttfuck retarded. The song they pratice with is Fuwa Fuwa Time. So she fails because theres’s too much to do at once with it. So after seeing Sawako shine all of a sudden she decides to try Mugi’s keyboard, this time she is actually good at it and make actual tunes with it. So after that Mio has an overload and shuts down.

Shhh kids it's the rare Ui-Chan don't startle her or she may run away.

So Yui being the smart individual that she is comes up with a plan to get Ritsu in the spotlight. First is moving the drum set to make it more awkward, then blinding her, and staring at her more.

I did it again...

Yui tells Azusa that if Ritsu quits she’ll be the new drummer which leaves Azusa in a bit of confusion (Yui+Drums O_O OH GOD RUN!). So we see Sawako trying to look even younger. Cut to Ritsu doing homework and texting Mio (who replies by calling her an idiot), she soon remembers what got her into drumming in the first place. She pops in a DvD of The Who (hell yea). After falling asleep watching it she oversleeps and has to run to class with Mio but because of Yui they were caught and we see Sawako wearing a mask and sunglasses as she went too far.  So thanks to Ritsu, Mugi created a new song with herself as vocals “Honey Sweet Tea Time”.

Overall:

This was a good episode funny in every aspect, offering more of an insight on Ritsu and her love for the drums too. I can’t wait to hear the full version of the new song since it seems pretty good. The segments with Ritsu trying new instruments was pretty good too I must say. And I cannot wait for next weeks episode which should be interesting. The entertaining part by far I think is the Sawako and beauty obsession, you saw how that turned out right? And Yui playing drums would be a nightmare, imagine her flinging a stick and killing someone. It is not out of her realm to attempt such a thing and while it may be more entertaining to me to see her murder someone, I doubt it will be well-accepted among her fandom. Also, I just noticed through the help of other blogs ( *Cough* BlogSuki *Cough*) that Kyoani skipped over the Mio Stalker arc….Thank you Kyoani! Here I thought for once you weren’t screwing us fans.

The Girls and their class head off on a Field Trip somewhere in Japan to visit shrines. I wonder what this will be like, one of the girls getting lost, and eaten by Manbearpig? Freddie just happens to be in Japan loli stalking and kills them? or my favorite a Godzilla attack where only the power of Hōkago Tea Time can stop him and save Tokyo before Bedtime? Lol the possibilities.
