Strike Witches 2 1
Strike Witches 2 Attack of the Moe
If you haven’t seen the first series I do not recommend watching this anime, as it has a lot to do with the first season.
The story begins 6 months after the original anime, another team of witches is en route to a mission, and try to make contact with the Neroui. Though as it turns out their assholes and fire upon their own people. Because of this the mission is a failure, and we cut to the op.
Op:
Already I’m seeing a much better quality in the animation with just the op. Though as Gonzo is no longer doing this I guess that could be why. We begin with the 504th Strike Force as usual up against the Neroui, with them using the usual tactics, Heavy Weapons. Meanwhile Yoshika, who returned home after the final battle, has just graduated from middle school(They grow up so fast), gets a ride from Mio and her grandfather. They stop because of a bear cub which she heals. Once she returns home her thoughts are interrupted by another witch who just went down, and as it turns out is from the 47th Strike Force, gives Yoshika, a letter from Amaki Suwa a letter containing blueprints supposedly sent from her father.
When going to the base they find Sakamota’s Striker Unit sitting there. They overhear a basic Mayday call, Sakamoto arrives asking what Yoshika is doing back here. They’re kicked out of the base as she’s no longer in the military. Sakamoto gets them to load her new striker unit onto the flying boat that just came in. While Yoshika sneaks back on base and hops into her striker and prepares to take off. Mio begs her not to go but Yoshika convinces her to let her, and so Yoshika’s adventure begins again. The reason she wants to go is Sakamoto can no longer use shields and so is utterly defenseless. 2 Other witches down on the island below them want Yoshika’s cooking as the canned food sucks, while Yoshika, and Sakamoto head out.
Like I said before, the animation with these openings and endings has improved dramatically, though that could be because they switched studios for this.
Closing Thoughts: I’m glad I decided to watch the second season, as I’m not one for second seasons a lot of the time, but this really gave me what I wanted, Action, Humor, and some Good Plot. If you have seen the first Season I highly recommend you watch this, if you need something good to watch this season, I recommend you watch this. Am I the only one impressed by the studio switch though?

Wow, I’ve really forgotten a lot from the first season (like names). After seeing that screenshot of Sakamoto, I think I’m going to watch this right now.
I like the parts with no pants :P
So you mean almost the whole episode?
