Turn A Gundam

This was announced the other day at Comic Con, and so once I did my victory dance, I decided to do this. Turn A Gundam is by far the most orginal gundam series yet. The main charecter Loran does not really kill much which is a change from other series especially the Tomino Ones.  He has a record for doing “Kill ‘em alls” where everybody around the main character usually dies (this was prominent in Victory especially, but also in Zeta). He made Turn A around 1999 I believe for the 20th Anniversary of Gundam, along with G-Saviour which is a bad Gundam live action.

Anyways this marks Yoko Kannos first, and only Gundam Series. Many of you know her for her work in Wolfs Rain, or even Cowboy Bebop. I enjoyed these series very much and think that this will be one of her best works yet. And while never stated publicly fans tend to believe this was her final go at Gundam, because she knew she couldn’t do it forever. This also marks the last gundam series to use this kind of animation before it was cg, like in seed.
