It’s official.
Sekijitsu is back on the prowl for some fresh new writers who are willing to throw their names into the hat, and put a foot into the team aniblogging door. With some current members preoccupied in real life complications, we find ourselves understaffed for the current season. I’ve wanted Sekijitsu to be able to provide a diverse opinion on a number of shows per season, so in order to achieve that, we’re gonna need your help.
This run around, we’re looking to add around 3-5 people (tentative), depending on the quality of applicants and what not. The last call out was really successful and while I am sad that some of the current staff have had to go on a break, I understand fully how hard life can be sometimes. You just gotta roll with the punches.
We here at Sekijitsu are a really fun and friendly bunch, a family of sorts. We’ve had countless of group chats than run for hours at a time, so there is a bond that is created between our writers. We are always looking to add to the family so why not try and join our ranks?
What we look for in a writer:
- Loves anime and/or manga unconditionally (that’s you)
- Dedication to the craft (someone who’s willing to go all the way and not treat it as just another job)
- Has an experience in writing (Not blog writing per say, just writing in general)
- A guarantee of one post per week (therefore less chance of a burnout)
What your application should include:
- A short introduction of yourself, some background of your love for anime and maybe a bit of your preferences and tastes
- A sample post that you deem worthy of showcasing your writing skills (preferably a review of an anime/manga that you particularly enjoy. An episodic review is fine as well)
- An answer to these specific questions:
- What sort of anime/manga do you enjoy?
- What are you currently watching/reading?
- What would you like to cover out of the current winter season shows?
- What sort of content would you preferably look to do – episodics, editorials, etc.

Cause the print screen is taking waaaaaayyyyy too long for me : And also, I'm not quite sure what and end thoughts is supposed to look like (and yes I'm giving it a go in applying for Sekijitsu) ^^

basically it takes screenshots for you using hotkeys and automatically saves it in a folder. It also has an editor that lets you crop it and then you can copy it to your clipboard. Then you can paste it in word.
