Hey there guys and gals I’m Asch and I’m one of them der new bloggers that have been cropping up around here and let’s just say it’s an honour to be here and a pleasure to meet all of you readers.
So where to begin. Well I’m the grand age of 20 and I am in my second year at University studying Film Studies in the wonderful and rustic city of Oxford in good ol’ Blighty (that’s England for those who aren’t fortunate enough to live here) and no I don’t drink Tea and eat crumpets everyday… cause, you know, tea goes with scones…
Anyway when I’m not stuck down in the editing suite or at a film shoot somewhere desperately trying not to fail you can usually find me on the Xbox, casually killing everything in sight or rocking out to my favourite music on rockband, or of course indulging myself in some anime goodness. Recently though I have also found a passion for anime style artwork.
Anime has been a big part of my life for a good 8 years now. The first thing I watched knowing it was an Anime was Gundam SEED, not a good start I know, however before that the classics of Pokemon, Digimon, Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing have had a huge impact on me. Since then I have watched as many different anime titles are there are fish in the sea ranging through all genre’s. My favourite’s I hear you shout… Mecha and Fantasy will always find a place on my watch list. Favourite anime of all time would have to be Gurren Lagann. What an emotional roller coaster that show was, everything just works for me with this show, since there is no status quo and you literally never know what is gonna happen next.
Well I think that just about covers the subject that is ME. Now onwards towards a bright new future and Sekijitsu domination!

I once read a couple spoilers for Gurren Lagann and haven't brought myself to watch it because of that.
I kind of want a scone now…

Pleasure to meet you at last Asch! Gundam SEED is awesome same with Gurren Lagann *brofist* The only show I've watched more than 5 times is Black Rock Shooter the OVA xD I'll let you all guess why~ nishishishi~~

SEED was alright, but I hope we can agree here, that Seed Destiny was just plain bad.
Yeah Destiny was AWFUL. The concept was good just the execution failed.
For me I tend to rank anime more softly so SEED in my opinion was great and Destiny was alright :D
Greetings newbie, as the resident Gundam / Mecha Expert ( I have no life I know :3) I must welcome you so ummmm hai.
Also: Gurren Lagann is pretty good Super Robot stuff, The movies cut out A TON though. Also Nia fading away made me cry ;_;
I thought the movies were really good, I didn't really mind that they cut stuff since it made room for the more hilarious stuff i.e. the end of the first film .
But yes I love Gundam/Mecha aswell soooooo nice to meet you and thanks for the welcome.
Yeah movie 1 cut the most out, and just skipping through certain events, though movie 2 as far as I can tell didn't as much. I will agree with you there though it did make room for some funny stuff.

Since you seem to be a mecha fan have you watched any of the Macross stuff?
Yeah I've seen a lot of Macross stuff. The only one I haven't watched is the one with the guitar player as the pilot… Macross 7 I think
That'd be the one, I need to watch it sometime, probably after rewatching SDF.

Nice to meet you! Gurren Lagann is one of my favorites, too, just like everyone else haha. You're pretty lucky to live in England–English tea is the best. I'd drink it every day if I were there lol.

It's pretty awesome and like what exactly, as I mainly do production modules so I don't really learn like shareable information however I can tell you that lighting set ups are a pain.
ANSWER: Yes we do put milk in Tea but it depends on the blend. but what do you mean Milk Tea?????
