Dance my little puppets, dance~

April Fool’s….one of my favorite days of the year. That rush you get when you trick someone, when you prank them into oblivion, that look on their faces when they realize they’ve been had….priceless. Absolutely priceless. Here in New Zealand, it’s already the 2nd of April so the fun and games have now ended but I’m sure some of you out there are only just beginning to get into the festivities. Still, I can’t believe how successful April Fool’s has been here at the blog today. Honestly when we thought all these up, we thought it was just gonna get lost in the crowd but surprisingly we managed to get some people good, be it on msn, twitter or right here on the blog. But our first prank also happened to be our best one, at least to us writers.

Did you really think I would be fooled on my own blog? Really?

Yes, everyone, Tofu is not going anywhere! And no, the other writers and I were not in limbo about the whole thing. This was all planned from the very beginning. I actually didn’t plan on commenting and acting like I was shocked by his sudden resignation, but I really wanted to see the reactions it would evoke. And damn did it turn out well.

Kekekeekkekekek we got you good this time!

Still, we felt bad in the end at how devastated some of you were at the news. Even through muffled laughter, I felt sad that some of you took it so seriously. At least you now know to never take ANYTHING seriously on this devil of a day right? Right?

Well, before you all kill me and feed me to the wolves, I would like to redirect all your hatred for us towards the star of the show, the man who got you all double-guessing this whole day. Like I said, in the end we all felt bad at how well the prank went, so I got Tofu to give y’all a heartfelt apology, even as I hold my laughter in the background. Without further ado, here is Tofu!

“WAIT A MINUTE!?!?! TOFU NEVER LEFT SJ!?!??!” might be what most of you are thinking right now. Let me first of all say… APRIL FOOLS!!! The whole leaving thing is a gag, I ain’t actually leaving Sekijitsu nor did any of them kick me out. Then again, I just want to say… I’m so sorry guys. Some of you took my letter really seriously, especially Yvoon and Ruby. I sincerely apologize to the both of you greatly.

While for some had a feeling it was an April fools gag, some didn’t. After reading over my own post several times, I realize how much depth I’ve put into it but I wasn’t sure if anyone would believe it if I didn’t do so. Once again I apologize to everyone who took this seriously and those who were just plainly fooled…. I wonder how many haters I’ve gained since my Top 10 post. Then again, if you don’t see me by tomorrow then that must of meant I was assassinated.

Kekekekekekkeke this was such an awesome day. But yea, we aren’t all mean and evil. Hell, that’s why I made today into sort of a theme park. I changed the theme, changed everyone’s avatars and names and even made you all a nice shiny new contract. It was fun right? And Renn made a hilarious post to boot. Truthfully, we actually had 2 more prank posts ready to go but we thought it was over kill at this point. Maybe we’ll save it for next year….

Still, we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off without our crew of writers. They have been an absolute joy to work with and trust us when we say today has been planned for a long time. These guys are the best and today could not have gone any better than it did without them. Cheers guys, here’s a toast to y’all!

Anywho, this post marks the end of Sekijitsu’s April Fool. As fun as today was, I can’t wait for us to change back from our Kyuubey garb and get me some Mami back in the header. As much as I love the Kyuubey theme, that little twat skeeves me out and my eyes are starting to hurt from all the grayscale. So I’ll be changing everything back to normal very soon and we will have our posts for the season finales up not long after (and won’t it be fun to go back to the posts to see who answered all your wishes? Kekekekeekekeke we own your souls!!!)

For those who missed all the festivities today, don’t worry. I’ll be putting the header and screenshots of the site on this joyous day in the header page to be immortalized forever. As for how we’re gonna top this feat next year..well, we’ve got a whole year to dream and scheme.

    -I SERIOUSLY HATE YOU TOFU, you made me so worried, I thought it was real and was all dramatic about it. I knew you before you got in SJ and thought you were pretty awesome, not anymore. If it was some other writer, I wouldn't have acted that way. In my eyes, you'll never be a cute innocent kid ever again, I'll never believe anything you say.. I'll hold this grudge forever.
    -I somewhat hate you Bass, jesus christ stop lying to me all the time >.> at least give a hint of honesty!

    Actually, Bass commenting on Tofu’s goodbye post was the red flag for me. If he’s really gonna quit, there’s no way in hell Bass wouldn’t know before making it public.
