Weekly Art – K-On!
Hey guys! It’s my turn to take the spotlight and guess what I have in store for you all! Yep, it’s K-On! The K-On fan boy does a weekly art on K-On, go figures. I, Tofu, would love to show everyone the wonderfulness of K-On and how great it is! I highly recommend you watch K-On (besides all the haters).
For those who don’t know, K-On is made up of 5 main girls: Mio, Yui, Ritsu, Azusa and Mugi with the other supporting characters like Nodoka, Sawako, Ui, Satoshi (Ritsu’s brother) and Jun (the person I always forget and don’t care about). Don’t be surprised that K-On does not have a great story to it since it is a light and fluffy slice-of-life series.
Even so, K-On is able to bring out that happy guilt inside of you and yet entertain you through normal, everyday-like activities. What really gets me excited is when they perform on stage. As a note, K-On is a musical anime as well. But let’s not go into that too much because we aren’t here to read a synopsis! We’re all here to witness some jaw-dropping art!
K-On!!
I’m sure you all know by now that I’m a huge Mio Akiyama fan, thus I’m also a huge Hikasa Yoko fan too. Why am I saying this out of the blue? Because this next pic spam will all be about Mio Akiyama! So some of you might think, why do I like her so much? The reason behind that is not because of how moe she is, but how she resembles me in certain aspects.
Mio Akiyama is a smart and hard-working person who hates anything to do with horror. I personally study hard and gain high marks because of my Asian influence and family status. I am the WORST with anything to do with horror! You could give me a certain picture and my mind will start making imaginary stories revolving around that picture. It’s quite intense how crazy my imagination can go that I fear it myself.
Mio is left-handed and plays a left handed bass guitar. Her reason for doing so is because she hates being in the spotlight and the bass guitar doesn’t get drowned out by other instruments. I am also a left-handed person who plays left handed bass. Mio was my inspiration to start actually.
Regarding the bass guitar, I also hate to be in the spotlight amongst any discussions while at the same time I don’t get isolated from the discussions. This is a brief way of explaining why I love this character so much yet there are much more other reasons that I cannot explain through words. It’s indescribable with any form of language. Without further ado, let the Mio art begin!

Well that’s it really. I hope you all enjoyed some of the great fan arts made by talented artists around the globe. The person up next week is… I’ll let you all guess. Hint: Her name starts with ‘E’.

Hahaha, this comes as a surprise to no one. Still, this is a really fun picspam! Those girls are really cute, and the pictures you have here are super high-quality. Kyoto Animation does some of the best promo art (and some of the best animation, but this is a picspam).
I'm not a huuuuge fan of K-On!, but I do like it. :) My favorite… either Yui or Mugi. <3 I just love wealthy lesbians. At least these means we won't have to fight over Mio though. :p

Azu-nyan is easily the best and most adorable. It's hardly original as fans of the series are usually wither Azusa or Mio fans and they are my two favorite.
Sawa-chan ahs to be my least favorite because she gets on my nerves but i don't dislike her or anything.
@the questions. YES! though it isn't a 10/10 but a very very high 9/10. Azu-nyan. Can't wait, just hope i don't get disappointed. I have a bunch of songs, not sure if its the complete OST though, where can i buy it from?

Yui is a great character indeed! Being voiced by the awesome Toyosaki Aki, she really did a good job in portraying Yui's personality. Then again, I'm a Mio fan so.. Mio all the way!!!

Back to the pictures, they all are awesome, already have seen most of them though. I really like the water color images, they look great with the white background. Found some nice pics there Tofu.
As for the character i like all of them but i like Yui more, and sadly Mio is the least fav for me.
The movie's coming out in December!! Can't wait!!

Ah yes the art of K-on! At first I kind of hated the designs in season one! I blame my brother for making me watch and getting addicted to it. LOL Anyway the artwork grew on me slowly, I enjoy the special episodes too as random as they are sometimes.

I think these is the most loveable, funny yet touching anime I ever watched.. It's make my days more colorful and happy..
My crush is swirling around Mio, Azusa & Yui with their each MOE-ness, but it seems Mio won my heart.. Like you, I don't know why, but I think it's because her humble yet inferiority heart (or personality) which make we want to protect her. By the way, have you ever met real Mio in real life?

It is definitely a very heart-warming and fluffly anime that it would make little things enjoyable in life but I'm glad there's heaps of Mio lovers out there (including you Shikizen) and I will definitely spread the Mio and K-On love even more MWAHAHAHAHAHA~! ;3

hmm.. it is a bit difficult but note that not all left handers play left handed, I was taught to play a right handed guitar when I was small then I stopped for 2 years and picked up a left handed guitar from the inspiration of K-On and a few music concerts I've attended to (and also two friends of mine who are in a band) ^^
Let's both keep an eye out for a real-life Mio! WOOT!
Ahh, I see.. Great job.. Anime really taught us many things, like when I learned Igo (Hikaru no Go), soccer (capt. Tsubasa), basketball (slamdunk), etc.
