Weekly Art – Mishima Kurone

Hello minna-san! This week I’d like to shine the light over who I’d call a talented, grey hair expert because Mishima Kurone’s work consists of mainly girls with grey hair and looks gorgeous. He’s done a few fan works here and there, some of the obvious ones are fan works of: Toaru Majutsu no Index, Ore no Imouto, Madoka, Boku wa Tomodachi, Yuru Yuri, K-On, Little Busters and even Pokemon (well it’s a metapod-like sleeping bag with a girl inside it so I guess it counts?). Mishima prefers to draw characters over backgrounds which is why there’s not much background art showcased but I’m definitely not complaining considering his talent in drawing all these individual characters is superb and I really love the sketch affect ones or however you call them. Like those pictures where you would sketch it as a draft before finishing it off, I love those. If you’d like to take a look at his pixiv site or Mishima’s own website (Hair Cult), click on the hyperlinks provided. Other than that, let’s begin!

About

A Chinese born Australian who loves playing snooker, jamming on the bass guitar and drowning himself in lots of anime. Tofu is also a huge Hikasa Yoko fan so forgive his 'feminine' tendencies at the mention of either: Hikasa Yoko, K-On! or Mio Akiyama. You can also find me over at Twitter and MAL.
