Kore wa Zombie desu ka – Of the Dead 04 – 05

I want to ride one of those SO BAD NOW!!!

Choosing not to expect any story progression even after what episode 3 displayed, I was truly able to enjoy episode 4 and 5. Yeah I know, it took me long enough to do so but hey, there WILL be story most likely starting next episode or the episode after depending on whether it’s a 10 episode series (according to MAL) or a 12 episode series (according to ANN). They haven’t given Kyoko any airing time since episode 3 (which I’m not too worried about since I seriously don’t care about her) but that Anderson-kun being a Denizen of the Underworld sure surprised me. I think he’s running away from the Flame Hazes oh wait wrong show!

...and now you can ALSO buy these specially marked Penis enlarging pills for only $2.95!

Yeah… dry joke is dry but moving on now! My most favourite scene is Aikawa dancing and yodeling as a method to cure Yuu’s fever. That was HILARIOUS! Not to mention that Aikawa’s whole mediation method is fricken funny as well! Poor Dyson Table Fan… you will be remembered. Of course we can’t forget about the – what I call the – ‘Made in China’ Fullmetal model Aikawa got at the end in episode 4! And those Mandrakes! Oh those Mandrakes… awesome Happy Potter reference is awesome indeed!

...is that a PENIS!?!?!

Rating: I’ve decided to give both episodes an overall 7 out of 10. Other than the comedy used in both episodes 4 and 5 which I personally found amusing since it seemed different to the usual masou shoujo comedy in season 1., being able to see my favourite character (Yuu) in a white shirt was more than adorable. In fact, the word adorable is an understatement especially when we began to dig into the whole caring and loving as a family.

In all honesty, Kore wa Zombie does a great job in mixing comedy with the more serious stuff like in episode 5. It never feels out of whack with the flow or progression no matter how absurdly hilarious it gets and that’s a great plus from me. Being more weary about my expectations, I’m not going to expect anything story-wise in the next episode but if they do decide to go serious, I don’t mind one bit. In fact, I’m craving for some fighting!

Obligatory yuri moment <3
